University Mini-Residency
Dale Henderson’s passion for sharing classical music makes him an ideal role model for music majors at a time when the field is embracing community engagement and arts advocacy. He is a guest artist who will make connections on campus and in the community, leading and mentoring students in embracing the Bach in the Subways spirit, and empowering them to bring their music to potential audiences. A multi-day residency can include a recital or concerto, pop-up performances in public spaces, in-class “Bach Breaks” (short performances at the invitation of faculty), master classes, and a multi-media presentation and performance on the birth and growth of the Bach in the Subways movement.
